How Marrow speaks.
A recovery app talks to people at two in the morning. The words are the product. These are the rules the words keep, the lines the rooms say, and the twelve phrases a lantern can carry.

A return starts the stretch again, never the practice. Nothing in Marrow can be lost. The word streak does not appear.

988, SAMHSA and 911 are on screen in every room and every overlay, in English and, where the lines exist, in Spanish. Nothing is more than one tap from a real voice.
- Heron is an AI, and it says so.
Every time. In the room, in the curtain, on a note left on Today. It never pretends to be a person, and it never pretends not to be there.
- Ranges, not promises.
Every timeline is a range with its evidence class on the label: well documented, documented, clinical, general. Bodies differ, and the copy says so.
- No verdicts.
A missed day is a dot, not a failure. A return is a moment, not a relapse. The app describes; it does not grade.
- Plain words.
No exclamation marks. No "you've got this". No confetti. Short sentences that would survive being read aloud by someone who is tired.

A lantern on the Night Watch can say one of twelve things and nothing else. No free text ever crosses the water, so nobody can be hurt by it, and every lantern can be steadied by a stranger.
